Spovedania unui mercenar

Destinatia: Afganistan.

Georgiana: we have troops both in iraq and afganistan
Georgiana: the romanian army I mean....
Georgiana: it's all over the news when some of them return with the flag over the coffin...it's just horrific...
Georgiana: most people judge them..they say they are mercenaries for going out there

Phillip: im proud to be a merc

Georgiana: why's that?

Phillip: because, i make money doing what other ppl dont have the stomach for...

Georgiana: but do you believe in what you are doing?

Phillip : i believe in my family getting fed, i dont give two shits about iraq or afganistan
Phillip : u can quote me

Georgiana: this was something I just saw on tv or in the movies, but talking to you makes it all so real
Georgiana: it's like scary real...

Phillip : nah, it aint scary

Georgiana: yes it is...it is...because it's war...and it's stones and sticks against tanks...and there's dying and desperation

Phillip : well, i guess im glad im in the tank...

Georgiana: because I think the price you have to pay it's just too much, the price your family has to pay is even bigger
Georgiana: and you think tanks are indestructable or something?

Phillip : no, not by a long shot
Georgiana: are you willing to put your life on the line-no second thoughts?

Phillip : yeah

Georgiana: if there was any other way you could've stayed home, would you have done it?

Phillip : if i get fragged then my family gets $500,000, and yes i would have...

Georgiana: no money is gonna be worth shit if you're not coming back

Phillip : yeah, but that buys alot of groceries

Georgiana : but that's no father, that's no husband nore son
Georgiana : this is just too fucking sad

Phillip : why, im not sad

Georgiana : you sound like you're completely brainwashed in this fantasy

Phillip : we all have to die sometime

Georgiana : that's what they tell you at training?

Phillip : no, its a fact of life

Georgiana : life is precious....love is precious..more precious than anything blood money can ever buy...maybe I'm just too soft for this

Phillip : its ok, its people like u that make it all worth while...

Georgiana: we all know the reason for the presence of those troops in iraq, afganistan etc....

Phillip : of course we do...
Phillip : i HAD a choice
Phillip : but i made it
Phillip : just remember that we're not the bad guys

Georgiana : yeah, the others are
Georgiana: says who????
Georgiana : the politicians?

Phillip : huh?

Georgiana : I don't give a shit about politicians
Georgiana : who says you're the good guys?

Phillip : i do

Georgiana : based on what?

Phillip : on my surroundings

Georgiana : I know your intentions are good, but your means are not
Georgiana : you're defending american people from the afgans?how's that...?they live well beyond the range of poverty, most of them don't even have...I don't know...what to eat from one day to the other
Georgiana : they aren't attacking you, you;re attacking them

Phillip : no, I Shoot Shells At Ppl for a paycheck.

E o alegere in viata pana la urma.

nu e vorba ca are o meserie de rahat,e vorba de seninatatea cu care se pune problema....adica...el imi spune: "daca mor,o sa aiba ce pune ai mei pe masa" si "remember, we're the good guys".pana la urma pe mine atata ignoranta ma sperie
